I visited the Island of Skomer which is managed by the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales, in 2012. Apart from a very few staff and one of two visitors, the Island is generally unoccupied overnight. It is a magical place to visit. I was experimenting with borders at the time, so came up with this idea! I had enormous fun and captured several shots of these beautiful, iconic birds, who spend much of their lives at sea - about 8 months every year. Their average life expectancy is 30+ years. Amazing!

Love Ian, I hear they are pretty tame and approachable. Would be a great daytrip for a camera club
